We want to offer a hearty “congratulations!” to Signature Flight Support for its new facility at King County International Airport/Boeing Field.
Although the Orlando, Fla.-based company has operated out of its $11.5 million, 6,250-square-foot executive terminal since the beginning of this year, officials with one of the Airport’s largest Fixed-Base Operators (FBO’s) ceremoniously cut the ribbon on the facility this week.
Top leaders with Signature Flight Support – the world’s largest fixed-based operation and distribution network for business aviation services – attended Tuesday’s celebration, including President and Chief Operating Officer Maria Sastre.
The event also featured the Airport’s Director, Randall Berg, who said, “Signature Flight Support’s new terminal represents a large investment in our airport, is located a stone’s-throw away from the Airport’s historic main terminal building, and is another example of how, by working together, the future of this Airport is limitless.”
“King County International Airport/Boeing Field is ecstatic to be part of the celebration of Signature Flight’s Support new terminal. As one of our largest Fixed-Base Operators (FBO’s), Signature’s success is a testament to the role it plays in providing first-class service to aircraft owners and operators not only in the Pacific Northwest, but around the globe.”
In addition to being a state-of-the-art building that features modern architecture, Signature Flight Support’s terminal is environmentally friendly, including an experimental system for storm water management.
